The Mabalacat City Government through the COVID-19 Response Integrated System has recorded only one positive case for its October 18, 2021 bulletin, bringing the overall positivity rate down to only 1%. Total active cases in the city has also fallen to 97.
Mabalacat City has also recorded 15 new recoveries bringing the city’s recovery rate to a record-high 96%.
MCG has been seeing a downward trend on the daily COVID-19 cases in Mabalacat since it ramped-up its COVID-19 vaccination and response. Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, during a press conference hosted by the Capampangan in Media, expressed his optimism that Mabalacat City will attain herd immunity by mid-November.
