BREAKING NEWS

According to the latest bulletin issued by the Mabalacat City COVID-19 Response Integrated System (CRIS) on Sunday, 20 out the 27 barangays of the city are now free of COVID-19.

The city also reported no new active case of COVID-19 on its bulletin for the same day. Active case in the city has also dipped to 23 with postivity rate of only 0.3%.

Meanwhile, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo urged his fellow Mabalaqueños not to be complacent with the downward trend of COVID-19 cases in the city by remaining vigilant and adherent to the minimum public health standards mandated by the government.

Meanwhile, Garbo attributed the downward trend of COVID-19 cases in the city to its intensified vaccination program.

Few days ago, the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Central Luzon (DILG-R3) urged Mabalacat City and other local government units with high inoculation coverage, to submit a documented report on their vaccination best practices.

In a supplementary attachment, records show that Mabalacat City has already vaccinated 96.06% (first dose immunity) and 78.68% (full dose immunity) of its 198,001 target population. The highest in Central Luzon.
