Mabalacat City Tourism Officer and Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines President Arwin Paul Lingat joined CDC President Manue Gaerlan, CILA Director Evelyn Yumul, Former Angeles City Councilor Edu Pamintuan (representing CDC Chairman Edgardo Pamintuan), and Angeles City Councilor Raco Del Rosario during the ceremonial lighting of the 40-foot CDC Christmas Tree on November 12, 2021.
In a statement, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo said that his administration has been in unity with Clark Development Corporation in countering the impacts of the pandemic “especially in bringing COVID-19 vaccine supplies closer to our BPOs, hospitality and tourism frontline workers here in Clark.”
“This undertaking is a recognition of their valued role in the post-pandemic recovery of our beloved freeport and our treasured city,” the mayor said.
“Today, I join all of you in solidarity in the ceremonial lighting of the CDC Christmas Tree and edifice, as our way of spreading powerful messages of hope, joy, and unity this Yuletide season. May our continuous efforts in countering the harmful impacts of the pandemic illuminate rays of hope, as we propel our way to a “better normal,” Mayor Garbo added.
