ROYCE HOTEL, CLARK― The Population, Gender and Development Office (PopGAD) under the Mabalacat City Government conducted an orientation to two (2) batches of Mabalacat Government employees on December 09, 2021 regarding RA 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act. “Minsan ang biro natin ay nakakabastos na.” This is the statement of DSWD Central Office Division Chief Ms. Miramel Laxa, RSW as she tackled the aforementioned Republic Act. The said law directly implies the rights of a person regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, religion, etc. when it comes to non-consensual acts of harassment. The event is part of the 18-day campaign of Mabalacat City to end Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC).
